Construction sludge frequently has high alkalinity after its generation or during the intermediate treatment process. The aim of this study is to experimentally investigate potential combining accelerated carbonation and a paper ash-based stabilizer (PSAS) neutralize construction in short period improve strength for use as recycled material. experimental results indicate that addition PSAS significantly granulated alkaline sludge, once granulated, successfully pH neutralization sludge. It was also found decrease dry density ?d degree saturation Sr PSAS-treated able reduce required neutralization, tN. thought allow fresh CO2 gas penetrate specimen more easily. However, if below certain limit, it does not strongly facilitate reduction This implies cannot be when amount water level.
